Vinh Long - On June 19, Tra On district released 2 tons of braised catfish into the Hau river, contributing to environmental protection and regenerating aquatic resources.

In this phase, 2 tons of braised catfish were released into the natural environment, with a total implementation cost of 120 million VND. This amount of money was mobilized from contributions from benefactors inside and outside the locality.

From the beginning of 2025 to now, Tra On district has organized 5 releases of fish such as catfish, snakehead fish, sesame fish,.... into the Hau River with a release quantity of more than 12 tons. The activity demonstrates a sense of responsibility towards the environment, contributing to the restoration of the river ecosystem and protection of biodiversity.

Through that, the locality continues to call on people to raise awareness of protecting aquatic resources, say no to endangered fishing, contributing to the conservation of sustainable natural resources for future generations.
