On January 2, information from Thanh Hoa Provincial Police said that in the first two days of the holiday, the traffic police force inspected, detected and handled 652 cases of traffic order and safety violations. Among them, there were 160 cases of alcohol concentration violations, fined nearly 600 million VND.

Previously, it was predicted that during the holidays, the demand for travel, sightseeing, tourism and visiting relatives of people would increase, and the volume of people and vehicles participating in traffic on national highways and provincial roads would increase.
The Traffic Police Force of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police has promoted the spirit of "Serving the People", "working through holidays", focusing on sticking to the route, sticking to the area, doing a good job of propaganda, reminding and supporting people to participate in traffic safely.
Along with that, the forces coordinate to organize patrols and inspections, promptly divert traffic, regulate and guide traffic, to prevent prolonged congestion.
In addition, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police strengthen inspection and strictly handle violations that are direct causes of traffic accidents, focusing on violations of alcohol concentration, speed, carrying more people than prescribed, going in the wrong lane and lane.
According to Thanh Hoa Provincial Police, in parallel with strengthening traffic order and safety, police units still maintain the operation of receiving dossiers for issuing, renewing, and testing driver's licenses. In the first 2 days of the holiday, functional forces issued new driver's licenses for 163 cases, renewed 317 cases and re-issued for 50 cases, creating maximum favorable conditions for people when coming to complete procedures.
