The Provincial People's Committee has issued a Decision to establish a Market Management Department under the Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Duong province on the basis of receiving the status quo of the Market Management Department of Hai Duong province from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Market Management Department is an administrative organization under the Department of Industry and Trade of Hai Duong province, with the function of assisting the Director of the Department of Industry and Trade in state management and organizing law enforcement on prevention, combat and handling of acts of trading in smuggled goods; production and trading of counterfeit goods, banned goods, goods of unknown origin; acts of violating intellectual property rights; acts of violating the law on quality, measurement, price, food safety; acts of violating the law on consumer protection rights, e-commerce, trade promotion and acts of trade fraud according to the provisions of law in Hai Duong province.
The leaders of the Department include: Department Head and no more than 2 Deputy Department Heads
The professional departments and tasks include: Organization - Administration Department; Professional Department - General.
Market Management Teams include:
Market Management Team No. 1: Management of Hai Duong City, Kim Thanh District, Thanh Ha District.
Market Management Team No. 2: Management of Chi Linh city, Kinh Mon town and Nam Sach district.
Market Management Team No. 3: Management of Gia Loc District, Tu Ky District and Ninh Giang District.
Market Management Team No. 4: Management of Cam Giang district, Binh Giang district and Thanh Mien district.
Market Management Team No. 5: Mobile fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the whole province.
The decision takes effect from March 12, 2025.
