Hai Phong children "march in the footsteps of heroes"

Hai Phong - On the morning of November 29, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers directed the program "We March in the footsteps of heroes" at Le Hong Phong Primary School (Hai Phong).

The program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army with the theme "We march in the footsteps of heroes" was directed by the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, the Hai Phong City Young Pioneers Council, the Ngo Quyen District Young Pioneers Council, and the Le Hong Phong Primary School Young Pioneers Union.

The program opened with a parade to show off the military force and many special art performances by officers, soldiers and students with the themes "Color of the Army's Uniform", "Proud to be your brothers", "Singing the military march".

At the program, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers and the Vietnam Children's Support and Development Center presented 56 gifts to children of officers and soldiers working in the Vietnam People's Army.

Also at the program, Le Hong Phong Primary School presented 12 gifts to teachers whose spouses are working in the Vietnam People's Army; awarded 12 students who won prizes in the poetry, writing and painting contest with the theme "The soldier in my eyes".
