According to information from functional agencies, on June 10, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Nam Nha Trang ward received an otter individual voluntarily handed over by Ms. T.T. X. H (residing in Phuoc Long A urban area, Nam Nha Trang ward).
A day earlier, Ms. H and staff at D.F clinic discovered a strange animal individual appearing at the facility.
Through observation, everyone identified this as a rare species of otter, so they contacted the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department to coordinate with the Nha Trang - Dien Khanh Forest Protection Department to receive it in accordance with regulations.
After inspection, the Nha Trang - Dien Khanh Forest Protection Department determined that this was a group IB carp, a endangered, precious, and rare animal species that needs to be protected.
Currently, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department of Nam Nha Trang ward has issued a notice for organizations and individuals in the area if they are the legal owners of the above otter individual to contact functional agencies to resolve according to regulations within 5 days from the date of notification.
After the above deadline, if no organization or individual comes to claim ownership, the Economic, Infrastructure and Urban Department will coordinate with the Nha Trang - Dien Khanh Forest Protection Department to handle this animal individual according to the provisions of law.
