On March 31, information from Soc Trang Provincial Police, Special Task Force 123 consecutively discovered and arrested many subjects for illegal possession and use of drugs in the province.
Specifically, at around 9:20 p.m. on March 26, while patrolling Tran Hung Dao Street (Ward 3, Soc Trang City), Special Task Force 123 discovered T.T.D (born in 2002) and V.V.M.E (born in 2005 - both residing in Tran De District, Soc Trang Province) showing suspicious signs.
Through the inspection, the authorities discovered and temporarily detained 1 knife, 1 glass tube and 1 plastic bag containing drugs. Rapid test results showed that V.V.M.E tested positive for drugs.
Then, on the night of March 29, the Working Group continued to patrol Hai Ba Trung Street (Ward 1) and Vo Van Kiet Street (Ward 7, Soc Trang City) and discovered 3 subjects H.V.K (born in 1994 - residing in Ward 7, Soc Trang City), D.T.V (born in 2009) and L.M.L (born in 2004 - both residing in Truong Khanh Commune, Long Phu District) with suspicious signs. Rapid test results showed that all 3 subjects tested positive for drugs.
Currently, the cases have been handed over by the Special Task Force 123 to the local police for further investigation and handling in accordance with the provisions of law.
