According to the plan to manage the quality of clean water used for domestic purposes in 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, in the first and second quarters of this year, specialized agencies will conduct water quality checks in apartment buildings and water tanks concentrated in areas without a tap water network.
The District Health Center and Thu Duc City will conduct sampling and water quality testing at 960 apartment buildings and 624 centralized water tanks. At each location, the authorities will take a water sample from the centralized tank and a random sample from the tap. If there are two or more clean water tanks, each tank will have one sample taken at the tank and one random sample taken at the tap.

In addition to checking the water quality in apartment buildings and tanks, Ho Chi Minh City will also conduct water quality checks at water supply units in the area.
The Ho Chi Minh City Center for Disease Control will inspect 27 water supply units with a designed capacity of 1,000 m3/day or more.
Hoc Mon District Medical Center and Can Gio District Medical Center will inspect water supply units with a designed capacity of less than 1,000 m3/day.
In addition, 62 reserve water supply units will also be inspected.
At the same time, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the leaders of the People's Committees of districts and Thu Duc City to organize the approval of annual plans and budget estimates for the organization of the implementation of activities to inspect and supervise the quality of clean water used for domestic purposes in the management area according to regulations.
