Ho Chi Minh City - Startup Connection Day creates space for units to share experiences, apply digital technology, and transform green from theory to practice.

On the morning of May 27, implementing the direction of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, the Ho Chi Minh City Creative Startup Center (SIHUB) in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City Cooperative Alliance and related units organized the "Startup Connection Day" and a series of thematic seminars at facility 28 Huynh Van Nghe, Phu Loi ward.

Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City creative startup ecosystem continues to maintain its position as one of the dynamic innovation centers of the country, for the first time participating in the Top 100 global creative startup ecosystems in 2026 and ranking third in Southeast Asia in terms of ecosystem value.

The city has formed a network with more than 30 incubators, business promotion organizations and nearly 100 investment funds, financial institutions, and a community of over 2,000 innovative startups.

The "Startup Connection Day" program aims to create a synchronous space for businesses, cooperatives, startup support organizations and management agencies to share experiences, apply digital technology and green transformation from theory to practical management, production and business at the grassroots level.

The official operation of the 28 Huynh Van Nghe facility contributes to the effective use of existing public infrastructure, expanding the service scope of the innovative startup ecosystem and creating favorable conditions for the local business community to get closer to state support policies.

Mr. Pham Huynh Quang Hieu, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, emphasized at the opening ceremony: "We expect the Festival to not only be an opportunity to introduce new products and solutions but also a forum for parties to exchange and review the initial results in digital transformation and green transformation at the grassroots level, thereby identifying appropriate steps in the next stage.

The highlight of the festival is the exhibition and technology connection space (Startup Connection Day) with more than 50 typical booths of innovative startups, startups, cooperatives, OCOP units, universities and support organizations.

Visitors and partners can directly access applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), automation, smart city models and management software solutions serving urban management, production and commerce.

In addition, the event also organized 2 thematic seminars. Among them, the seminar "Digital Creativity in the Public Sector: From Policy to Implementation, Towards a New Growth Model" will focus on clarifying the role of technology in improving public governance efficiency and improving the quality of administrative services.

The workshop "Green Transformation: Connecting Digital Solutions to Product Value Chains and Practical Production" will focus on solutions to support cooperatives, cooperative groups and innovative businesses to apply digital technology in green production processes, thereby reducing waste, improving resource efficiency and better meeting sustainable standards in the supply chain.
