Ho Chi Minh City integrates hotline to protect children and women into Portal 1022

Ho Chi Minh City has just issued a document on integrating a hotline to support children and women into the City's 1022 Information Portal.

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee agreed with the proposal of the Department of Health and the Department of Science and Technology on the policy of integrating hotlines to receive, coordinate, and process information reflecting and requesting support from people related to the field of protecting and caring for children and women affected by violence, abuse, mistreatment, child labor... currently in Ho Chi Minh City to the 1022 HCMC Information Portal (Information Portal 1022).

Assign the Department of Health to receive and process relevant information according to its authority; urgently develop and promulgate procedures for receiving and processing information before April 30, 2026; ensure timely response to emergencies, safety, and information security; be responsible for monitoring, urging, summarizing, and reporting to the City People's Committee according to regulations.

During the transition period, the Department of Health is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Science and Technology, the City Digital Transformation Center and related units to continue to maintain the operation of existing hotlines, and at the same time connect and direct calls to the 1022 Information Portal, ensuring continuous and uninterrupted information reception.

Develop a roadmap to terminate the operation of old switchboard numbers after the system operates stably; organize synchronous communication on maintaining existing switchboard numbers and the roadmap for conversion to Portal 1022, ensuring clarity and consistency, avoiding confusion and interruption of people's access to services.

At the same time, organize integration, operate the system, ensure smooth connection, accurate traffic flow, and do not interrupt the receipt and processing of information.

Main functions of gate 1022

- Receive feedback and recommendations from people about incidents and damage to technical infrastructure such as transportation, water supply and drainage, telecommunications, green trees, lighting, urban order, natural resources - environment, and electricity.

- Allow people to take photos, record videos and accurately locate the location of the incident when sending feedback.

- Monitor and statistically analyze the progress and results of handling feedback according to each field and each period of time.

- Ensure two-way interaction between people and functional agencies throughout the process of receiving, processing and responding to information.
