On June 1st, the Women's Union of the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Police Department coordinated with the grassroots Youth Union and the Women's Union of the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police to organize the program "Spreading Love - Giving Gifts to Children".
The activity aims to visit, encourage and give gifts to children with achievements in their studies at the Dong Hoi Center for Nurturing and Teaching Disabled Children and the North Quang Tri Social Work Center.
At the program, the delegation presented more than 100 gifts including cakes, candies, milk and 20 scholarships. Each scholarship is worth 300,000 VND.
Among them, 2 scholarships worth 1 million VND were awarded to 2 disadvantaged children being treated in Da Nang City.
This is an activity for the community of youth, women's union members of the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Police Department, grassroots Youth Union and Women's Union of the Traffic Police Department of Quang Tri Provincial Police.
Through the program, the units wish to encourage children in particularly difficult circumstances, and add motivation for them to strive to rise up in their studies and life.
On this occasion, the Youth Union and Women's Union of the Criminal Judgment Enforcement and Judicial Assistance Police Department also organized visits and encouraged the foster siblings of the Youth Union - Association, and presented 1 gift and cash worth 500,000 VND.
The grassroots Youth Union and the Women's Union of the Traffic Police Department also visited the foster siblings of the Youth Union - the Union who are children of martyrs, and presented cash worth 5 million VND.
The gifts show the concern and sharing of officers and soldiers of Quang Tri Provincial Police, contributing to bringing the children a joyful and warm International Children's Day.
The activity also spreads the spirit of compassion and responsibility for the community, encouraging children to continue to strive to study and train to become good children and good students.
