Deploying site clearance for the Viet Hoa Western Industrial Cluster Project

Hai Phong - Viet Hoa Ward People's Committee organizes a people's meeting on site clearance for the Western Industrial Cluster project, ensuring people's rights and local economic development.

On April 9, at the Do Trung Residential Group Cultural House, Viet Hoa Ward People's Committee, Hai Phong City organized a meeting with households with land in the land recovery and site clearance (GPMB) area to implement the Project of Investment in Construction and Business of Infrastructure of Viet Hoa Western Industrial Cluster, Hai Duong City, Hai Duong province (now Viet Hoa ward, Hai Phong City).

The West Viet Hoa Industrial Cluster project has a total recovered area of 5,790 m2 of specialized rice land. The project's goal is to invest in synchronous infrastructure construction.

The industrial cluster aims to create a clean land fund to attract investors, develop production and business, create jobs for workers and contribute to the local budget. At the same time, the project will be a driving force to promote socio-economic development of the locality in particular and Hai Phong City in general.

At the meeting, 12 households with land in the recovered area were informed about the purpose, meaning, and importance of the project, the works being implemented in the planned recovered land area; and were guided on state regulations related to compensation and support policies when recovering land, as well as expected compensation and support plans.

The meeting demonstrated the spirit of openness and democracy, with the desire to ensure the best interests of the people, and at the same time affirmed the determination of the government in site clearance to implement the project for the socio-economic development goals of the locality.
