On February 1st, Vinh Long Provincial Police said that Nguyet Hoa Ward Police had completed the file to handle the subject who committed property theft in the area.
Previously, at noon on January 24, during patrols and inspections to ensure security and order, Nguyet Hoa Ward Police in coordination with grassroots security and order protection forces discovered a suspect with suspicious signs.
Conducting an inspection, functional forces caught Huynh Anh Kiet (born in 1976, residing in Trung Dien hamlet, Trung Thanh commune, Vinh Long province) red-handed committing the act of cutting thief copper wire in lighting poles along the river embankment, belonging to Tra Det hamlet, Nguyet Hoa ward.
At the scene, the police force seized about 4 meters of contact copper wire along with the means and tools used by the subject to commit theft.
Working at the Police agency, Huynh Anh Kiet admitted all violations. The case is being completed by functional agencies to handle according to legal regulations.
