On September 29, Ha Long Primary School (Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with Traffic Police Team No. 2 (abbreviated as Team 2 - Traffic Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police) to organize a special propaganda session on legal education and improving traffic skills for students.
This is a practical activity, contributing to raising awareness of traffic safety, helping students have better awareness and skills when participating in traffic, ensuring safety for themselves and the community.
According to statistics, from December 15, 2024 to present, there have been 50 road traffic accidents in 5 wards and communes of Vung Tau City, killing 22 people, injuring 35 people, and damaging many vehicles. Of which, there were 3 traffic accidents involving students, killing 1 student and injuring 2 students. Organizing traffic law propaganda for children aims to build traffic culture in the school environment, as well as emphasizing the importance of grasping and complying with traffic laws to minimize accidents, especially among school-age children.
In the program, officers and soldiers of Team 2 organized information for teachers and students about basic knowledge about safety when participating in traffic, how to recognize signs, and safe travel skills when walking and cycling. After taking the spotlight, each student became a propagandist for relatives and family.

On the same day, Nguyen An Ninh Secondary School (Tam Thang Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Ho Chi Minh City Police to deploy a program to instruct escape and fire fighting skills for teachers and a large number of students.
At the propaganda session, officers and soldiers directly advised on many practical situations such as: escaping and rescuing victims trapped in high ground, first aiding victims, how to use hand-carried fire extinguishers... attracting a large number of teachers and students to participate, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.
Thereby, it has equipped students and teachers with knowledge and skills in handling emergency situations, helping students and teachers to be more proactive in fire prevention and fighting; contributing to building a movement for the whole population to participate in fire prevention and fighting and rescue more and more practically and effectively.
At the same time, it brings useful experiences, knowledge and easy-to-remember skills, helping students quickly apply them in practice. Help them not only know how to protect themselves but also be able to support others when there are fire and explosion incidents. At the same time, it aims to reduce the risk of fire and explosion and protect the safety of people's lives and property.
