On March 2, the Traffic Police Department of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province Police coordinated with relevant agencies to examine the scene and prepare a file to handle a serious traffic accident on National Highway 51 (through Phu My City) that killed one person.
According to initial information, at around 9:00 a.m. on March 2, a tractor trailer with license plate 61H-14.827 pulling a trailer 61R- 06479 was transporting goods on National Highway 51, from Dong Nai to Vung Tau.
When arriving at the intersection of Nguyen Van Linh Street and turning into Phu My 1 Industrial Park, it suddenly collided with a motorbike pulling a homemade trailer driven by a woman.
The collision caused the woman to fall onto the road and die on the spot; the motorbike was damaged.
After the accident, the authorities quickly arrived to protect the scene. However, there were quite a lot of vehicles and curious people, causing traffic congestion in this area. At around 11am, traffic on this road section returned to normal.
