In the first 6 months of 2025 alone, VNG contributed VND560 billion to the state budget. All core business segments have recorded stable growth and contributed positively to Vietnam's digital economy.
Not limited to business goals, VNG also proactively implements many community initiatives to improve national AI capacity.
In early 2025, Zalo cooperated with the Japan Institute of Advanced Science and Technology (JAIST) to launch the Vietnamese LLM Development Report based on the VMLU standard set and provided free of charge, to support the Vietnamese community in researching and training large language models.
In May 2025, the Group signed a cooperation agreement with Ho Chi Minh City National University, committing to sponsor 25 billion VND over 3 years for research and development activities and accompanying the training of at least 1,000 high-quality students.
The group also operates an AI Experimentation & Research room at its headquarters, providing GPUs for talented young research groups. At the end of June, Zalo joined the first AI Alliance in Vietnam - Lac Europe, committed to developing community-oriented AI technology and promoting national digital transformation.
