On December 26, the People's Committee of Vung Tau City said that to facilitate people and tourists participating in the activities of "Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024", taking place from December 27-29, the locality has arranged 5 temporary car parking lots in areas with high traffic volume.
The locations of the temporary parking lots include: Lam Son Stadium area; the old provincial children's house yard on Quang Trung Street; the provincial Youth Cultural House yard area; the old provincial police headquarters yard area on Tran Hung Dao Street; and the vacant land opposite the People's Committee of Ward 1, Vung Tau City.
Because activities are mainly concentrated in the Front Beach area and Quang Trung flower garden, temporary parking lots are arranged around this area in a scientific manner, helping to facilitate traffic and meet the needs of residents and tourists.
According to the plan, "Ba Ria - Vung Tau Tourism Week 2024" with the theme "LET'S GO!!! Ba Ria - Vung Tau" will be held for 3 days (December 27-29, 2024), with a series of notable activities such as check-in spaces and miniatures; introducing local destinations, cuisine and OCOP products; Tuong Ky Mountain Run Challenge 2024; golf and pickleball tournaments; culinary programs and special music concerts...
Along with a series of events are stimulus packages and low season incentives launched by businesses. Through that, the tourism industry hopes to attract a large number of tourists during the low season at the end of the year, as well as promote the image of tourism to domestic and international friends.
