At the conference, Chairman of Tam Xuan Commune People's Committee Nguyen Chi Dan - said that, in response to the increasingly high demand for security and order, the Commune People's Committee has directed the Police and the people's consensus to deploy the "Security camera" model.
To date, the total number of installed cameras is 38, worth more than 137 million VND, of which the people have donated more than 74 million VND.
Since its implementation, through the security camera system, 15 cases have been detected and clarified (5 cases of property theft, 4 cases of fighting, 2 cases of being drunk and drinking causing public disorder, 4 cases of traffic accidents).
Thanks to extracting data from security cameras, many law violators were quickly arrested immediately after committing the crime, contributing significantly to the investigation and discovery of the case.
Initial results show that the camera system has contributed to raising people's awareness of law compliance and curbing violations.
Support the police force in patrolling, supervising, investigating, and handling many complicated cases of security and order. Helping to better manage traffic situations, prevent social evils and build a civilized lifestyle.
The Security Camera model has become an extended arm of the Public Security force and the movement of the entire people to protect national security in the area.
In the coming time, Tam Xuan Commune People's Committee will continue to expand the camera network in residential areas, key routes, and areas with complex security and order.
Allocate regular funding for the construction, maintenance, and repair of camera systems. Thereby, promoting the role of the people and organizations in management and supervision, considering this a common responsibility of the community.
