The Lao Dong Newspaper Legal Consulting Office replied:
Article 3 of the Law on Prevention and Combat of Human Trafficking 2024 (effective from July 1, 2025) stipulates the following prohibited acts:
1. Human trafficking as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 2 of this Law.
2. Agreement on human trafficking from the time of conception.
3. Enforcing, brokering or inciting others to commit acts specified in Clauses 1 and 2 of this Article.
4. Threatening or taking revenge on victims, people in the process of being identified as victims, their relatives, witnesses, whistleblowers, reporters, denunciations, declarations or people who prevent acts specified in this Article.
5. Con that, covering up, assisting, obstructing, intervening, not handling or handling in violation of the law for human trafficking.
6. Taking advantage of activities to prevent and combat human trafficking for profit and commit illegal acts.
7. Obstruct the rescue, reception, verification, identification, protection and support of victims and people in the process of being identified as victims.
8. Obstruction of detection, denunciation, reporting, reporting, declaring, and handling of acts specified in this Article.
9. Insultation, discrimination, and discrimination against victims and people in the process of being identified as victims.
10. disclosing information about the victim or person in the process of being identified as a victim without their consent or their legal representative, unless otherwise provided by law.
11. Impersonating a victim.
12. Other acts violating the provisions of this Law.
Thus, the above acts are strictly prohibited in the prevention and combat of human trafficking.
