Sharing about the inspiration for composing the song, the young male singer said: "Getting through the days of youth together, loving each other seemed endless, then one day we suddenly stopped walking together. I felt like the whole world was breaking up at that time, the melody just kept sowing in my head. Maybe because I can't speak, I choose to sing out my own sadness".
Meanwhile, "No one in the world is like leaves" is a story about a silent love. Son Pham revealed that he wrote the song after a period of quietly following a girl he loved. The love affair between coming and going in a separate world of a man who was always introverted and hesitant to give away his own thoughts.
With "Don't Say", Son Pham and Ha Kiem - who have accompanied him for many years in self-recording music and making an MV with the style of the 1900, show the quirky, lovely features of Gen Z guys.
The male singer said that he wanted to go back in time, giving the public a strange "dish" among the sharp, high-resolution products often seen on the market.
Son Pham was born in 2000 in Hanoi, currently a student of the Faculty of Applied Music at Thang Long University (Hanoi). Although he has been passionate about music since childhood, because he grew up in a family with little to do with art, he never dared to express his desire to everyone.
Entering high school, Son Pham began to find friends with the same frequency. He learned about guitar, how to make bai, compose for himself, edit and post them on social media. After the song "Chuyen ngang sau chia tay" with a gentle, deep melody, Son Pham became more known to many audiences.
"I chose indie because this music genre helps me satisfy myself in the best way, without pressure or bottlenecks. In return, indie is not limited by genre or language, making me feel comfortable when traveling and expanding myself in music" - Son Pham said.
In 2024, Son Pham enrolled as a trainee at Starlab Art Academy with the desire to learn from musician Hoang Anh Minh.
Talking about the journey ahead, Son Pham revealed that he did not think too much but wanted to let music guide him. There, he also put aside all the sophistication in appearance and stage name, only wanting to find people who are in harmony through emotions and melodies.
