The play "Cong Nu Anio" taking place in Da Nang has attracted the attention of many art-loving audiences. Once again, the love story of the 17th-century princess of Dang Trong and the Japanese merchant has helped the audience better understand the culture and history of Vietnam and Japan, as well as the good traditional relationship between the two countries.

Previously in 2023, "Cong Nu Anio" was performed to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
To promote the work as a symbol of the good friendship between the two countries, the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and the Executive Board of the Opera Project "Cong Nu Anio" continue to perform the play "Cong Nu Anio" in Hanoi and Tokyo (Japan) in 2024.

The play's content takes the audience back to the 17th century in the context of "the world is in the records of the Exploration era". The princess Ngoc Hoa of Dang Trong and the Japanese trader - Araki Sotaro met on a boat drifting at sea connecting the two countries.
10 years later, destined to be a guide, they have met again. And then, without knowing it, the two fell in love, they fell in love and wished for a married couple.

Although Nguyen tried his best to propose to having to marry his daughter to a foreign country, the determination of the two to remain unchanged and their deep love moved him.
God also gave the two kisses and sent them to Nagasaki, Japan. Nagasaki people call princess Ngoc Hoa by the affectionate name "Anio". The couple went through a happy life. However, the "waves of the times" suddenly hit, causing the fate of the two to change...
