The exhibition "Meeting 2024" includes 33 oil paintings created by artists Do Huu Khoi and Pham Van Trong over the past 5 years.
Evaluating this exhibition , some opinions acknowledge that color is perhaps a strength in the works of artist Do Huu Khoi.
The yellow colors of the sun, the yellow of rice, the yellow of the walls, the yellow of the soil and the green of the trees, sometimes added with contrasting brilliant colors, make his paintings quite attractive.
As for Pham Van Trong's works, the impressionistic and somewhat blocky color strokes like Cezanne in some paintings have made the artist's space more exciting. At the same time, besides impressionism, the tendency of his paintings is also more inclined towards depicting reality.
Coming to the exhibition of the two artists, viewers can see that, without emotions, techniques or materials cannot create emotional paintings.
The emotions in the paintings of Do Huu Khoi and Pham Van Trong seem clear and pure in the midst of a bustling, rational society. And, in the paintings of both Do Huu Khoi and Pham Van Trong, it seems like they are meeting again to form a new friendship. A meeting of souls and true love for painting.
It is known that 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the works are used by the two artists to support the Upland Girls' Fund with the aim of helping female students in the highland areas have clean toilets and household appliances.
