In the same recent "Hanoi Singing Voice 2025" contest, lecturer Nguyen Duc Quang had 3/10 students enter the light music style finals, in which 2 contestants were in the Top 5 finalists: Cuong DuyC won the runner-up prize, while Nguyen Hoang Duy was awarded the "Best song performance contestant about Hanoi".
The success of students in the "Hanoi Singing Contest 2025" is considered a clear demonstration of the training method that lecturer Nguyen Duc Quang pursues: Combining a systematic vocal technique platform with the ability to adapt to trends, helping students find their own personality in performance.

Nguyen Duc Quang was born in 1989, graduated from the Central University of Art Pedagogy and the Vietnam National Academy of Music. He is currently studying for a PhD in Theory and Teaching methods of Vocal Music. In addition to teaching at Thang Long University, he is also the Director of Domica Art Center.
Before being mentioned more often as a lecturer, Nguyen Duc Quang was known as the teacher behind the success of Nguyen Duc Vinh - Champion of Vietnam's Got Talent 2014. Recently, his name has continued to be noticed as his students continuously create positive effects on social networks, especially on the TikTok platform.
During the A80 event, a series of performance videos of students guided by Mr. Nguyen Duc Quang achieved a large amount of interaction. The clip of Baby Pop showing the song "Continuing the story of peace" reached 6.3 million views just a few days after being posted. The videos of Nguyen Duc Vinh, Viet Cuong or many other students like Ho Anh Thu also quickly reached 2 to 6 million views, showing the strong spread of academic music products but still close to the public.
Growing up in a remote commune of Moc Chau district, Son La province, in a poor family with many difficulties, Nguyen Duc Quang's passion for music came to him early, partly inherited from his parents - those who love singing even though they did not pursue a professional artistic career.

After graduating from high school, he studied at the Tay Bac College of Culture and Arts, then decided to take the entrance exam to the Central University of Art Pedagogy. During his studies, with the aspiration to become a vocal lecturer, Nguyen Duc Quang continued to take the entrance exam to the Vietnam National Academy of Music and studied at two schools.
He graduated from both training institutions with excellent results, under the guidance of Associate Professor, Dr. Meritorious Artist Tran Ngoc Lan - the person he mentioned as a great inspiration in his teaching career.
After graduating, Nguyen Duc Quang was invited to teach at Thang Long University and continued to study at the university level and is currently a PhD student at the age of 36.
Talking about his career journey, Mr. Nguyen Duc Quang said: "Current conditions do not determine the future. As long as you are passionate, disciplined and persistent, everyone can find their voice. For me, vocal music is not only a singing technique, but a journey to train myself, nurture dreams and spread positive values to the younger generation".
In the context of music competitions increasingly requiring high expertise, those working in training like Nguyen Duc Quang are quietly playing an important role, contributing to the formation of a young artist who is both technically proficient and capable of connecting with the contemporary public.
