MC Hong Phuc received attention from the audience when sending messages about drug prevention through music and major programs.
After 6 days of showing, "Tuoi tre ta say no to drugs" has reached over 1 million views. On this occasion, he has set aside 10 million VND to create scholarships for students.
The male MC said that while filming the 2025 Tet program in Cao Bang to promote tourism and cuisine here, he visited Po Tau High School and heard about student Ly Thi Nuong, a 10C student, orphaned by both parents, her grandmother recently passed away, the eldest of three siblings.
Knowing that Nuong has a hard time making a living but still tries to go to school every day, he gave her 10 million VND, wishing her to try to improve in life and study well to raise her two younger siblings.
Hong Phuc is also actively preparing for his 2025 Tet plans. Sharing with reporters, he said that this year Tet is approaching so all plans must be urgent and race against time.
Hong Phuc is happy that last year he contributed a small part to introducing to international audiences and tourists the famous landscapes and Vietnamese culture through the roads he traveled through in "Check in Vietnam".
"I will try to complete my plan to spend time celebrating Tet with my family. I hope this year I will have a meaningful Tet with my wife and children," he said.
