Another work that VTV documentary filmmakers put a lot of effort into is "Father and Son Soldier". The story of the "Father and Son Soldier" families is a symbol of a big family - the Vietnamese national family with a heroic tradition of patriotism.
Vietnam Television also broadcast the movie "Red Dawn" with the story of the heroic feats and fighting spirit of the first female driver platoon on the Truong Son route.
In particular, the TV series "Space of Time" after 10 episodes has been attracting audiences to follow the story of soldiers of two generations. The character of Lieutenant Colonel Dai, played by actor Manh Truong, and his roles as soldiers in peacetime have touched the hearts of viewers through emotional scenes of rescuing people during storms and floods.
VTV also produced the documentary "Living in the hearts of the people" in ethnic languages, broadcast on VTV5. VTV8 will send viewers a series of documentaries: "Truong Son in the mind", "Wounds that are hard to heal", "Binh Gia Victory"...
In addition to news reports, columns, and special topics based on events in Military Region 9, VTV Can Tho channel will introduce the cai luong play "Comrade" - a work that highlights the role models of veterans in the cause of building the homeland and resolutely fighting corruption.
Along with the programs on the channels, VTV is implementing a separate project on the digital platform with the theme "Glory to the heroic Vietnam People's Army", including the series of programs "Heroes of the 20th century"...
According to Mr. Do Thanh Hai - Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, from the beginning of 2024, VTV has planned to implement many propaganda activities for key events.
"On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, we wish to produce many meaningful programs, reports and works to express our respect and gratitude to generations of soldiers who have contributed to the heroic history of our country," Mr. Do Thanh Hai emphasized.
