The art program "Silent Glory 2024" is held on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024), and the 79th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Cryptography Industry (September 12, 1945 - September 12, 2024).
According to Major General Nguyen Huu Hung - Deputy Head of the Government Cipher Committee, the program aims to praise the heroic history of the nation, the Army and the Vietnamese Cipher sector, and is also a deep gratitude for the contributions of the previous generation, of nearly 1,000 cipher martyrs who heroically fell on all battlefields, and the wounded soldiers who left behind a part of their blood and bones, all for the cause of protecting confidential information of the Party and State.
This is also an important political activity for all cadres and employees of the Vietnam Cipher Industry, with profound educational and humanistic significance, inspiring and fueling the next generations, promoting the tradition of "Loyalty, Dedication, Solidarity, Discipline, Creativity", determined to build the Vietnam Cipher Industry "Revolutionary, disciplined, modern".
Director Mai Thanh Tung added that the program is a smooth combination of unique art forms including: Music, dance, poetry, reportage, exchange and modern stage techniques to honor and highlight the pride of the Cryptographic force .
At the same time, the program will revive the difficult and heroic years and bring vision and aspiration in the new era, in the next glorious journey of the Vietnamese Cryptography industry.
The program is divided into 3 chapters: "Historical Mission", "Silent Feats", "Glorious Journey", and "Silent Glory 2024" to help the audience see a comprehensive picture of the silent journey of the Vietnamese Cryptography industry.
In addition to bringing many songs that have left a mark in the hearts of every Vietnamese person, the audience in the capital also had the opportunity to enjoy songs of the Vietnamese Cipher industry such as: "Vietnam Cipher March" (poem by Van Duy, music by An Thuyen) and "Silent Glory" (poem by Nguyen Huu Hung, music by Bui Hoang Uyen Minh)... performed by singers: Tung Duong, Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Minh Quan, Ngoc Ky, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi...
