On August 29, the Military Region 7 Command held a conference to hand over the duties and responsibilities of the Deputy Commander of the Military Region.
Pursuant to the Prime Minister's decision, Major General Vo Van Thi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 7, will retire from September 1, 2024 and hand over the task of monitoring and directing the Logistics sector to Major General Dang Van Lam - Deputy Commander of Military Region 7.

Lieutenant Colonel Ha Trong Thuong, Political Commissar of Team 192, now holds the position of Military Science Assistant, General Staff Department.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Hoa, Propaganda Assistant, Propaganda Department, now holds the position of Policy Assistant, Policy Department, Political Department.
Major Dinh Duc Thinh, Policy Assistant, now holds the position of Political Assistant - Mass Mobilization Team 192, Political Department.

On August 26, the Military Command of Phong Tho district (Lai Chau province) held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work.
According to Decision No. 217/QDD-BQP, dated July 26, 2024 of the Minister of National Defense on the transfer of Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Tien Tan, Political Commissar of Phong Tho District Military Command, Lai Chau Provincial Military Command, Military Region 2 to the General Staff to take up work.
Decision No. 34/QDD-QK2, dated August 1, 2024 of the Political Commissar of Military Region 2 on the appointment of Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Manh Luc, Head of the Propaganda Department, Political Department, Lai Chau Provincial Military Command, to hold the position of Political Commissar of Phong Tho District Military Command.
Awarding the Party Badge to Major General Du Truong Giang
On August 27, the Party Cell of the Military Armament Department, the Party Committee of the Technical Department of Military Region 7 held a ceremony to award the Party Badge to Major General Du Truong Giang, former Deputy Commander of the Military Region, and Colonel Vu Nam Son, Deputy Director of Technical Department of the Military Region.
At the ceremony, Colonel Bien Van Cheo, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Military Region's Technical Department, presented the 40-year Party membership badge to Major General Du Truong Giang, former Deputy Commander of the Military Region, and the 30-year Party membership badge to Colonel Vu Nam Son, Deputy Director of Technical Department of the Military Region.
