Born and raised in a poor rural area where landslides frequently occurred and people's lives were difficult, Phuong Dong (real name Tran Thi Dong) witnessed the daily deprivation and hardship of the people.
Those difficult days and hardships made the girl born in 1994 more sensitive to the pain of those around her. Therefore, she told herself that when she grew up, she had to escape poverty to support her family and be able to help those in difficult circumstances.

When she started her career in the fashion industry, she achieved certain results. Therefore, she established the Bao Trung Foundation to help people in difficult circumstances such as: Donating gifts worth 500 million VND to Hanoi Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital; Donating 10 Terumo infusion machines to the National Children's Hospital worth 270 million VND; Donating 190 million VND to renovate the Cultural House and sponsor the Kindergarten in Hamlet 6, Minh Phu Commune, Tuyen Quang; Supporting the construction of a poor school in Hoa Binh with a cost of nearly 100 million VND...
When Typhoon Yagi devastated the country, Phuong Dong felt pity for the people in need due to the floods. She decided to go directly to the affected areas to provide relief, using the money from selling her house and donating nearly 1 billion VND to organize relief trips to areas severely affected by the storm and floods.

Phuong Dong and her team of volunteers transported five trucks of 2.5 tons of relief supplies to the affected areas. In addition, she did not accept cash but called on everyone to donate essential supplies such as dry food, life jackets, drinking water, milk, and clothes.
The young girl hopes that this sharing will help more people, bringing hope and warmth in difficult times.
In addition, she has transferred more than 600 million VND in cash to the Vietnam Fatherland Front to help people overcome the consequences of the flood.
With a compassionate heart, Phuong Dong hopes to have more meaningful trips and activities to share and encourage people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.
