Gasoline prices drop across the board
Gasoline prices have decreased simultaneously since 3:00 p.m. today (August 29) after adjustments by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
In today's adjustment session, RON 95 gasoline price decreased compared to the previous adjustment period, at 21,110 VND/liter (down 210 VND/liter).
E5 RON 92 gasoline price decreased compared to the previous adjustment period, priced at VND 20,330/liter (down VND 90/liter).
Prices of petroleum products have decreased simultaneously. Diesel oil price decreased by 300 VND, now at 18,470 VND/liter; kerosene has a new price of 19,060 VND (down 80 VND/liter); fuel oil decreased by 190 VND, now at 15,560 VND/kg.

Nearly 1,400 first Indian tourists arrive in Ha Long
1,378 Indian tourists on 33 large passenger buses from Hanoi arrived at Ha Long International Passenger Port, Bai Chay Ward, Ha Long City at 11:00 a.m. At the port, Ms. Nguyen Huyen Anh - Director of the Department of Tourism of Quang Ninh Province - welcomed and presented flowers to the head of the delegation.
As soon as they set foot at the port, Indian tourists were delighted by the space and beautiful scenery of Ha Long Bay, and the cruise ships parked on both sides of the wharf. The first thing these tourists did was to rush to take check-in photos along the way to the ship.

Official conclusion of karate medal-fixing case
The Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City has made an official conclusion regarding the case of parents accusing them of arranging medals at the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City Talented Youth Karate Tournament.
Accordingly, the Department confirmed that there was no such thing as giving up the medal as in the complaint of Mr. Nguyen Manh Duong.
Previously, at the final of the 11-12 age group at the 2024 Ho Chi Minh City Youth Karate Tournament held on August 18, athlete TM (born in 2013, Tan Binh district) lost 3-11 to an opponent in Binh Thanh district.
Afterwards, Mr. Duong - the parent of athlete TM - was upset when Ms. Mong Tam - Head of the Tan Binh District karate team shared: "Binh Thanh District has few medals, they asked us (Tan Binh District) to give them one".
