To ensure safety, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH) of Kien Giang Provincial Police has deployed inspections, guidance and propaganda in the whole province. The focus of these inspections is warehouses, factories combined with business - where there is a high risk of fire and explosion.
Actual inspection, many production and business establishments in Rach Gia City existing in combination of living and staying right in the production area, potentially high risk of fire and explosion. Fire Prevention and Fighting Police forces have strengthened inspection and reorganization of fire prevention and fighting safety at these facilities. In addition to checking the fire prevention and fighting system, the functional forces also guide the facility to overcome the shortcomings and emphasize the "4 -spot" motto in firing and explosion response.
Lieutenant Colonel Pham Manh Hung - Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Kien Giang Province Police said: "We have developed a peak plan, inspecting hundreds of facilities with potential fire and explosion risks. The goal is not only to detect violations but also to support and guide units to raise awareness of fire prevention early and from afar".

According to Lieutenant Colonel Hung, the peak plan has been implemented synchronously since the beginning of the dry season, focusing on production and business establishments, densely populated residential areas and high-risk areas such as markets, warehouses, and gas and oil businesses.
During the inspection, the authorities not only strictly handled violations of fire safety regulations, but also focused on propaganda, reminders, and specific instructions on remedial measures, renovation of power systems, escape routes, and equipment of initial fire fighting equipment suitable to the characteristics of each facility.
The Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department also organizes training courses and drills on fire fighting and rescue plans for on-site forces, helping facilities improve their skills in handling emergency situations.
At the same time, officers of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department also instructed employees of warehouses, people in the joint venture group as well as owners of production and business establishments to know how to use means and fire spray to handle when a fire or explosion occurs.
