On June 19, the Liaison Committee of Military Delegation 9901 Cuu Long coordinated to organize the handover ceremony of the "Comradeship" house and the "Great Unity" house to Mr. Vo Hoang Nam and Mr. Chau Van Thuc, both residing in Binh Ninh hamlet, Ngai Tu commune, Vinh Long province.
Attending were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung - former Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, former Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Head of the Liaison Committee of Military Delegation 9901 Cuu Long; representatives of Vinh Long Lottery Company Limited and local leaders.
Mr. Vo Hoang Nam is a youth volunteer who participated in the war to protect the Fatherland, performed international duties in Cambodia and helped Laos. Mr. Chau Van Thuc is a former sergeant of the Operations Department of Military Region 9, Front 979.
According to the Liaison Committee of Military Regiment 9901 Cuu Long, both families face housing difficulties. Since then, the unit has mobilized social resources to support the construction of houses, helping families have conditions to stabilize their lives.
Through the connection of the Liaison Committee, Vinh Long Lottery Co., Ltd. supports the construction cost of 60 million VND per house. After a period of construction, the houses have been completed and put into use.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung said that supporting the construction of "Comradeship" houses and "Great Unity" houses expresses gratitude to those who participated in combat, served in combat and performed international duties.
The activity also contributes to promoting the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", "Gratitude", caring for the lives of people with meritorious services, policy families and spreading comradeship in the community.
On the occasion of the house handover, the Liaison Committee of Military Delegation 9901 Cuu Long, Vinh Long Lottery Company Limited and local authorities presented many gifts to celebrate the new house, encouraging families to continue to strive to stabilize their lives.
