Many meaningful activities of the Charity Group Willing Hearts at Da Nang Shelter

On the morning of October 3, at the Da Nang Shelter of Love - No. 18 Phan Tu Street, many meaningful activities of the foreign charity group took place.

In 1996, the City Charity Association and the Southern Fatherland Front of Da Nang established the Da Nang Shelter of Love. Here, more than 30 elderly people with single-parent health conditions and homelessness aged 70 and over are being cared for, including many elderly people with illnesses, having to use wheelchairs, paralyzed, mentally ill...

At this morning's program, a foreign charity group called "Willing Hearts" with nearly 15 members from many countries (UK, Russia, Australia, Philippines...), with the support of Vietnamese volunteers, the So of the Shelter of Love cooked 60 servings of Quang noodles for the elderly being cared for here and responded to public service work to contribute to creating a green - clean - beautiful space.

The representative of the Da Nang Shelter of Love shared that they not only bring delicious, nutritious meals, but also spread love to the less fortunate.

Sitting in a wheelchair, Nguyen Thi Loan choked up and said: "I have lived here for nearly 8 years. She considers this place her home, the So here are very kind. Now that his children come here and see all the foreigners, he feels even happier.
