FUTA EV Power and BYD join hands to develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Vietnam

On June 28 in Ho Chi Minh City, FUTA EV Power of Phuong Trang Group (FUTA Group) and BYD Auto Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in developing electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

According to the agreement, the two sides will establish a cooperation framework to research and develop electric vehicle charging infrastructure, optimize charging station systems and improve user experience.

FUTA EV Power and BYD Auto Vietnam will also coordinate in researching advanced battery technology solutions, energy storage systems and modern charging infrastructure to meet the increasing demand of the electric vehicle market in Vietnam.

One of the key contents of the agreement is to study the possibility of connecting and sharing charging station infrastructure.

Customers of each side will gradually expand their access to the charging station system according to specific technical standards and cooperation conditions, towards building a more synchronous and convenient green energy ecosystem.

For FUTA EV Power, cooperation with BYD - one of the world's leading corporations in battery technology, new energy vehicles and charging infrastructure will help businesses access advanced technology standards, improve investment capacity, operation and development of charging station networks in Vietnam.

Meanwhile, BYD Auto Vietnam will have more conditions to expand its service ecosystem, increasing access to charging infrastructure for customers.

Currently, FUTA EV Power is gradually expanding the charging station system nationwide, aiming to build a modern, safe and convenient infrastructure network. In addition to serving personal electric cars, the system is also oriented to meet the large-scale charging needs for passenger cars, trucks, commercial vehicles and specialized electric vehicles in the future.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, a representative of the FUTA EV Power Board of Directors said that the cooperation with BYD Auto Vietnam is an important step forward in the enterprise's green energy infrastructure development strategy, and also demonstrates the determination to accompany the global energy transition trend.

The combination of FUTA EV Power's infrastructure and BYD's technology is expected to contribute to completing the electric vehicle ecosystem, promoting green transportation, reducing carbon emissions and towards sustainable development in Vietnam.
