Immediately after the signing ceremony, Kim Long Motor handed over the first electric buses to be put into operation on route 173 (Con Dao market - Co Ong airport). Kim Long Motor will provide a total of 38 electric buses, serving the operation of 6 electric bus routes in Con Dao.
All electric buses provided by Kim Long Motor use new technology BYD batteries, manufactured at the battery manufacturing and assembly factory in Kim Long Motor Hue Automobile Manufacturing and assembly Industrial Park, allowing the vehicle to operate stably, smoothly, and maintain high performance even in continuous operation conditions.
This electric bus line is researched and designed by Kim Long Motor specifically for urban traffic conditions in Vietnam, with a compact, modern, highly aesthetic design, suitable for the characteristics of the infrastructure and operating density in Con Dao.
Electric bus models use low floors, equipped with a large-capacity air conditioning system, surveillance cameras, electronic board displaying route information, and comfortable seats, meeting the requirements of operation and improving the experience of passengers.
In the coming time, Kim Long Motor will continue to research, develop and provide additional electric vehicles with 4 - 7 seats, serving the needs of flexible transportation, eco-tourism and special services in Con Dao. This is considered a direction in line with the orientation of sustainable development, environmental conservation and optimization of local transport infrastructure.
From the beginning of 2025 to now, Kim Long Motor has handed over nearly 700 electric buses to domestic transportation enterprises, typically FUTA Bus Lines, serving public passenger transport in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.
Kim Long Motor also exports electric buses to Korea, maintaining an annual export of about 3,000 buses to Thailand.
