According to the epidemiological investigation of the Cam My District Medical Center, the dog running free on the street showed signs of aggression, convulsions, and watery water.
The dog bit Mrs. L.T.H when she was walking across the street. After that, the dog continued to run and bite Mr. P.T.L while he was going to the temple. Being chased by Mr. L, the dog continued to run and bite N.B.P when he was playing in the yard. The family of P and the people later locked and destroyed the dog.
Immediately after being bitten by a dog suspected of rabies, all 3 people went to a medical facility to be consulted on anti-rabies serum and rabies vaccine.
The People's Committee of Song Nhan commune has directed commune veterinary staff to conduct a 5 km zoning to organize rabies vaccination for dogs and cats. At the same time, clean up the environment and disinfect areas where suspected rabid dogs live and pass.
