On February 22, the Center for Agricultural Technology and Services of Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province announced to find people in contact with rabid dogs in Quarter 3, Phu Tai ward, Phan Thiet city on the morning of February 20.

At that time, a stray dog ran into the market at the above location and bit 3 people. At noon the same day, the dog died. Through initial verification, the above dog bit 2 people in Phu Tai ward, 1 person in Ham My commune and these people were injected with anti-rabies serum.
The Phan Thiet City Agricultural Technical and Service Center has taken samples from the dog and sent them for testing at the Veterinary Department of Region VI. On the evening of February 21, the dog tested positive for rabies virus.

The center has sprayed disinfectants in areas where rabid dogs pass by, and at the same time vaccinated 18 dogs in the area against rabies. People in contact with rabid dogs in the above area should immediately go to the nearest medical center to report and be instructed to get vaccinated against the disease according to regulations.
