Stage 2 of SEA V.Cup 2026 will take place from August 7-9 in Thailand. With a dense competition schedule for 3 consecutive days, the allocation of forces and maintaining fitness will be an important factor for the teams.
According to the schedule, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team will successively meet Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand.
Previously, after stage 1 ended, the Vietnamese team finalized the list of 14 players for stage 2.
The selected athletes include Nguyen Khanh Dang, Le Thi Yen, Doan Thi Xuan, Dang Thi Kim Thanh, Bui Thi Anh Thao, Dinh Thi Thuy, Pham Quynh Huong, Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, Luu Thi Hue, Le Thuy Linh, Ly Thi Luyen, Vo Thi Kim Thoa and Dinh Thi Van.
The squad has 2 faces participating in the SEA V.Cup for the first time, Dinh Thi Van and Le Thuy Linh, and also welcomes the return of Pham Quynh Huong.
Assistant coach Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hoa will lead the team in this stage, while head coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet stays in Bac Ninh to continue preparing forces for the next plans.
In stage 1 in Dong Anh (Hanoi), Thailand won the championship, Vietnam finished second, Indonesia and the Philippines took the remaining two positions.
