On May 6, news from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross said that the unit had visited, encouraged and provided financial support to the family of Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Xuan Diem (residing in residential group 13 Duong De, Bac Nha Trang ward) who was heavily damaged by the fire.
Previously, at about 7 pm on May 4, a fire suddenly broke out, completely burning down the temporary house and all the assets accumulated for many years of Ms. Diem's family.
Although there were no casualties, the fire completely damaged the motorbike, refrigerator, many household items and all books and school papers of her daughter.
Ms. Diem's family is in difficult circumstances, with unstable income from diving and small business, temporarily living on other people's land.
Immediately after the incident occurred, the Red Cross Society of Bac Nha Trang ward was present at the scene to grasp the situation, encourage the family; and quickly reported and proposed to the Provincial Red Cross Society an emergency relief plan.
On that basis, the leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society decided to support 5 million VND to help the family stabilize their psychology and overcome immediate difficulties.
The timely coordination between the Association levels in handling fire situations has continued to affirm its role as a humanitarian bridge, supporting people to overcome difficult circumstances.
