The strongest wind near the storm center is level 15 - 16 (167 - 201 km/h), gusting over level 17. The storm is moving west-northwest at a speed of about 25 km/h.
It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the storm will move west-northwest, about 20 km/h. At around tomorrow morning, November 10, the storm will enter the East Sea, becoming the 14th storm of the year.
At 7:00 p.m. on November 10, the center of the storm was at about 17.6 degrees north latitude; 118.1 degrees east longitude, in the sea east of the northern East Sea. The storm gradually weakened, reaching level 13, gusting to level 16.
The danger zone is from about 14.5 to 19.5 degrees north latitude; east of the longitude 116.5 degrees east longitude. The natural disaster risk level is level 3 for the eastern sea area of the northern East Sea.
It is forecasted that in the next 48 hours, the storm will move northward at a speed of 10-15 km/h. At 7:00 p.m. on November 11, the center of the storm was at about 20.6 degrees north latitude; 118 degrees east longitude, in the eastern sea of the northern East Sea. Storm intensity level 13, gust level 16.
The danger zone is from about 16 to 22 degrees north latitude; east of the 116 degrees east longitude. The natural disaster risk level is level 3 for the eastern sea area of the northern East Sea.
It is forecasted that in the next 72 hours, the storm will move northeast at a speed of about 15 km/h. At 7:00 p.m. on November 12, the center of the storm was at about 23.1 degrees north latitude; 120.4 degrees east longitude, in the Taiwan island area. The storm further weakened, reaching level 11 - 12, gusting to level 15.
The danger zone is north of latitude 19 degrees north; east of longitude 116 degrees east. The natural disaster risk level is level 3 for the northeastern sea area of the northern East Sea.
From the next 72 to 96 hours, the storm will continue to move northeast, traveling about 25 km/h and the intensity will continue to weaken.
Regarding the impact of the storm at sea, the sea area east of the northern East Sea will have strong winds of level 6 - 7, then increase to level 8 - 10; the area near the storm's center will have strong winds of level 11 - 13, gusting to level 16. The waves are 4 - 6 m high, then increase to 6 - 8 m; the area near the storm's eye is 8 - 10 m high. The sea is rough.
All ships operating in the above dangerous areas are likely to be affected by thunderstorms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves, and should be noted for precautions.
