On August 18, the Traffic Police Department, Dak Lak Provincial Police informed that functional forces had just promptly guided and taken people with strokes to the hospital for emergency treatment at night.
Previously, at about 11:20 pm on August 15, while performing patrol and control duties on the Ho Chi Minh road through Hoa Phu commune, the Traffic Police Team of Road Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police received an urgent request for support from people.
Accordingly, a young man born in 2000, residing in Hoa Phu commune, showed signs of a stroke and is being taken by relatives by taxi to the Central Highlands Regional Hospital for emergency treatment.
Recognizing that the patient's condition could be dangerous and needed to be taken to a medical facility as soon as possible, the Task Force quickly assigned Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Thang to drive a specialized vehicle to guide and assist the taxi to take the patient to the hospital.
When moving to Mai Thi Luu street, about 1 km from Tay Nguyen Regional Hospital, the taxi suddenly encountered an incident and could not continue the journey.
Faced with the emergency situation, Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Thang immediately assisted in taking the patient to a specialized car of the traffic police force. After that, the traffic police officer continued to take the patient to the hospital safely for emergency treatment by doctors and nurses.
Thanks to the timely and responsible support of traffic police officers, the patient was quickly taken to a medical facility in an emergency situation, contributing to limiting the risk of affecting health and life.
