Being a teacher in the AI era

Hoàng Văn Minh |

In the context of artificial intelligence (AI) opening up new horizons for education, teachers are forced to affirm their pioneering role in learning, always learning to meet the requirements.

Not only adapting to changes in technology, the teaching staff is proactively improving their qualifications, mastering new teaching methods, so that each hour of class becomes a creative experience journey for students.

AI has been opening up opportunities for classes to become more lively, intuitive and effective than ever.

But for technology to become a real lever in teaching, each teacher must constantly self-study and self-educate, from designing intuitive lectures, creating digital learning materials, building illustrative videos to organizing interactive games or systematizing knowledge with smart platforms...

Teachers must be pioneers, taking the lead in inspiring students to apply technology. By turning dry content into attractive; turning difficult lessons into interesting experiences.

Teachers must know how to apply AI to help students access knowledge in an intuitive, fast, and easy-to-understand way; at the same time arouse curiosity, exploration...

In fact, in that journey, there have been many more learning examples of many teachers that make us admire. They have spent time attending training courses on digital chemicals, learning more digital lesson design skills, researching new AI tools to support students...

Many teachers also self-study online, experiment with 3D simulation applications, scientific simulations, creating mind map maps or building online question banks. All come from the desire to only give students a better hour of study than yesterday.

reality also shows that AI does not reduce the role of a teacher, but on the contrary, helps affirm the position of a teacher as a guide. If AI opens a new door to knowledge, it is the teacher who helps students enter that door confidently and in the right direction.

If in the past, the task of teachers mainly revolved around imparting knowledge, now, the knowledge base has expanded, synthesized by AI in just a few seconds.

What students lack now is not information, but the ability to classify right and wrong, verification skills and courage to avoid being caught up in the results created by machines passively.

In the new era, as technology goes further and further, teachers have to step faster, learn more and be more creative. And it is that continuous learning journey that further highlights the beauty of the teaching profession.

Teachers not only teach students how to use technology, but also teach them how to become masters of themselves in the technology era.

Technology can change teaching methods, but it is the teacher who decides how students grow up. And in the AI era, the value of teachers becomes even more important.
