The funding source for paying overtime wages for teachers in public educational institutions from September 23 is based on Circular 21/2025/TT-BGDDT.
The Ministry of Education and Training limits extra teaching hours for public teachers, paying one and a half times their salary

For each extra teaching period outside the quota, teachers are paid 150% of the regular teaching period salary, but are limited to a maximum of 200 periods per year.
