The seminar "Improving the legal system to control new cigarettes - From policy to practice" organized by Dai Doan Ket Newspaper on June 3rd, many delegates commented that the implementation of Resolution 173/2024/QH15 still faces many difficulties due to the lack of scientific and legal basis to distinguish new types of cigarettes. Therefore, to synchronize the legal framework as a basis for fair management of tobacco products, it is necessary to amend the Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harm Prevention (PCTHTL) and related laws.
