UAV debris falls and causes fire at Russian oil refinery

    UAV debris caused fires and damage to many structures in southern Russia, but there were no casualties.

    According to TASS news agency on June 28, debris of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) fell in the town of Slavyansk-on-Kuban in the Krasnodar region in southern Russia.

    In Slavyansk-on-Kuban, drone debris fell and caused a fire on the site of an oil refinery. Debris also damaged an electrical wire and broke windows at a local house," the regional crisis response center said in a statement. No casualties were recorded. Rapid response forces are working in the area.

    At the same time, a man was injured and 4 houses were damaged also by drone debris in the Trudobelikovsky settlement in the Krasnodar region, Russia. The man was given first aid on the spot and did not need to be hospitalized.
