On August 18, Israel launched a new attack in the Gaza Strip, despite diplomatic efforts from the US and regional countries to stop the fighting.
The airstrike on August 18 in the city of Deir Al-Balah killed 19 people, including 6 children, according to Palestinian health authorities.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Egypt and Qatar are trying to negotiate to reduce tensions, but the situation is still very serious.

Russia was exonerated in Europe's largest nuclear plant fire
The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that Russia is not involved in the fire at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine.
The fire occurred after a Ukrainian drone attack on August 11.
Both Russia and Ukraine blame each other, but the IAEA has denied that Russia caused the fire.
The Zaporizhzhia factory, which has been under Russian control since the beginning of the conflict, is often accused by Ukraine of being a military target.
The IAEA has called on all parties to exercise restraint to avoid a nuclear disaster.
Clues can decode the mystery of missing MH370
New research by Dr Vincent Lyne from the University of Tasmania has provided important clues about the crash location of flight MH370.
Based on the last satellite communications, Dr. Lyne believes that the plane did not fall freely due to running out of fuel but made a controlled landing in the South Indian Ocean.
He argued that MH370 may be located in a 6,000m deep hole near Broken Ridge, where the terrain is complex, and this area could be the next search target.
Germany began building military bases close to the Russian border

This base is expected to station 4,800 German soldiers and many heavy weapons.
The project is part of Germany's commitment to NATO, aimed at enhancing regional security.
The 42nd Heavy Armored Brigade will consist of three combat battalions, including a multinational unit.
Russia considers this a security threat and warns that it will react accordingly.
Unbreakthrough trip of the US Secretary of State
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken just finished a trip to the Middle East to promote a ceasefire in Gaza but failed to reach any agreement.
Despite meeting with the leaders of Israel, Egypt and Qatar, Mr. Blinken could not overcome major obstacles in negotiations.
Both Israel and Hamas expressed skepticism about the possibility of achieving a breakthrough.
Hamas believes that the US proposal is biased against Israel, and negotiations between the two sides will continue without clear progress.
