In the 2023 season, Dentil Praia faced Sport Center 1 - the name when the Vietnamese women's volleyball team participated in the World Club Championship. The Brazilian representative won overwhelmingly 3-0.
Previously, the ancient capital team lost two consecutive matches against NEC Red Rockets (Japan) and Imoco (Italy) and almost had no chance of getting a ticket to the semi-finals.
