At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee announced the Decisions of the Minister of Public Security and the Director of Hai Phong City Police on promoting ranks from Senior Colonel to Colonel for 25 comrades currently holding positions as Heads of Professional Departments of the City Police and the Decisions of the Director of the City Police on promoting ranks from Lieutenant Colonel to Senior Colonel for 30 comrades currently holding positions as Heads of Ward, Commune, and Special Zone Police.
Authorized by the Minister of Public Security to present the decision and present flowers to congratulate the officers who were promoted to professional officer ranks this time, Major General Bui Quang Binh - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the City Police - affirmed that this is a recognition, the leaders and commanders of the Police of units and localities who were promoted to ranks this time are all very worthy, have a working process from many units, clearly show noble qualities, firm political bravery, are well-trained, and have high professional qualifications.
The Director of the City Police wished that the officers who were awarded the rank of professional officer would continue to train, strive, improve their moral qualities, firm political bravery, absolute loyalty to the Party, to the Fatherland and the People, for the sacred honor of a police officer, for the glorious tradition of the Hai Phong City Police force.
