Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha signed Decision No. 1707/QD-TTg on the investment policy for the project to invest in construction and business of infrastructure of Vinh Thanh Industrial Park (phase 2), Can Tho City; at the same time, approved the investor, Thanh Binh Phu My Joint Stock Company.
The project area is 540.58 hectares. The project implementation location is in Vinh Trinh and Vinh Binh communes, Vinh Thanh district, Can Tho city.
The project's investment capital is 7,850 billion VND, of which the investor's contributed capital is 1,177.5 billion VND.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment is responsible for the assigned contents of project investment policy appraisal and state management of industrial zones in accordance with the provisions of the law on investment and relevant laws.
Relevant ministries are responsible for the content of project investment policy appraisal within their functions and tasks according to the provisions of the law on investment and relevant laws.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Can Tho City to be responsible for the truthfulness and accuracy of information, reported data and appraisal contents according to the provisions of law.
Ensure that the project is within the land allocation and zoning plan in the Can Tho City Planning approved by competent authorities in accordance with the provisions of the law on planning and land law.
At the same time, sufficient industrial park land quotas are allocated to implement according to the approved schedule; the remaining area (about 65.72 hectares) planned as Vinh Thanh Industrial Park (phase 2) must be strictly managed in accordance with the provisions of the law on planning, the law on land and other relevant legal provisions.
The purpose of use of this area may not be changed to another purpose without approval from a competent state agency in accordance with the provisions of law.
Organize the development and implementation of plans for land recovery, compensation, resettlement support, land use conversion, and land lease to implement projects in accordance with documents approved by competent authorities on project area, location, and progress.
Ensure that there are no disputes or complaints regarding the right to use the project site; supplement the lost area of land for rice cultivation or increase the efficiency of rice land use according to regulations.
Can Tho City People's Committee directs the Management Board of Can Tho Export Processing and Industrial Zones and relevant agencies to monitor and supervise the project implementation process, ensuring compliance with the requirements of protecting and promoting the value of cultural heritage and the conditions prescribed by law on cultural heritage.
