The ceremony was attended by city leaders, including Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Nguyen Truong Nhat Phuong, and leaders of departments and branches.
At the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Bac Nam announced the decisions to appoint Mr. Pham Dinh Dung to the position of Head of the Management Board of the New High-Tech Agricultural Zone; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hien, Mr. Le Van Cua, and Mr. Nguyen Duy Son to the position of Deputy Head of the Management Board of the New High-Tech Agricultural Zone.
The term of office of the above personnel is 5 years, starting from July 1, 2025.

Speaking at the assignment, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho highly appreciated the achievements of the High-Tech Agricultural Zone Management Board over the past 20 years. He emphasized that after the administrative merger at the provincial and municipal levels, the city has a large area of agricultural land, creating favorable conditions for the development of high-tech agricultural areas, turning this place into a leading center for research, transfer and application of high technology.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tho also believes that with the 20-year tradition and the capacity of the new leadership team, the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Agricultural Zone will continue to affirm its role as the core of the country in the field of high-tech agriculture and digital transformation.
In response, Mr. Pham Dinh Dung, Head of the new Management Board, expressed his gratitude and pledged to work with the collective to complete the assigned tasks well.


Also at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs Nguyen Bac Nam announced the decision to resolve 27 managers retiring early, receiving policies according to Government regulations from September 1, 2025.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Tho acknowledged and appreciated the efforts and contributions of these officials throughout their working process. He wished the cadres good health and happiness and hoped they would continue to contribute to the locality where they resided.
On behalf of the officials receiving the decision, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Van, former Head of the Urban Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, expressed her gratitude and promised to continue to contribute to the development of the city.
