On the evening of April 26, the Da Nang Ao Dai Festival 2026 officially closed with the last two activities within the framework of the festival, closing a series of cultural events with many imprints.

In which, the "Han River Reunion" performance program takes place at the foot of Nguyen Van Troi bridge (An Hai ward), for the first time an ao dai performance program is organized on the bridge, creating a unique art space in the heart of the city.
In the Han River space, ao dai combined with light, music and urban landscape creates an emotional performance, showing the intersection between tradition and modernity, contributing to honoring the cultural beauty and dynamic image of Da Nang.

The "Peace Birds" collection by designer Nhat Thuc is inspired by the image of birds flying in the free sky, sending a desire for a peaceful world, where people live with love and respect for each other.
Each design not only honors the gentle beauty of Vietnamese women, but also spreads a message about a bright future and human connection.
Meanwhile, designer Thinh Nguyen's "Da Nang Son Colors" collection depicts the beauty of the coastal city through famous landmarks. Each detail is meticulously cared for like a vivid painting, expressing pride in the land rich in tourism and cultural potential.
The "Han Giang Flavors" collection by designer Nguyen Lan Vy continues to honor Vietnamese ao dai, while telling the story of a young, rich in identity and constantly striving to develop Da Nang.

At the same time, at 40 Bach Dang (Hai Chau ward), the award ceremony for the photo contest "Ao Dai tells cultural stories" and the closing art program "Ao Dai tells stories" took place.
The contest was launched in February 2026, attracting more than 900 entries, reflecting the beauty of ao dai associated with life, landscape and people of Da Nang.
The closing art program has the participation of child models, combining ao dai performances with modern music and dance, bringing a fresh perspective on the development journey of Vietnamese ao dai.

Through the series of activities, the Organizing Committee hopes to spread the message that ao dai is not only a traditional costume but also a symbol of cultural identity and creativity of Vietnamese people in the new era.
