After the music night at My Dinh Stadium at the end of June, fans burst into tears before announcing that G-Dragon will return to Hanoi with a solo concert within the framework of the World Tour Overmensch 2025.
According to information from Applewood representative, the organizer of G-Dragon's concert series in Southeast Asia, the 2 concerts will take place on November 8-9, 2025.
Although there are still more than 4 months before the official event, many people have eagerly booked air tickets to Hanoi to meet their idols.
Airfares to Hanoi are on the rise
Hoang Yen (33 years old, Ho Chi Minh City) is determined to go to Hanoi to watch G-Dragon's concert. She shared: "Although the concert has not been officially confirmed and tickets have not been opened for sale, I and some friends have researched and prepared to book flights and hotels to Hanoi this November".
Surveying websites selling direct air tickets, Ms. Yen found that the price of HCMC - Hanoi round-trip air tickets on November 7-10 was around 3-5 million VND/person, an increase of about 400,000 - 1 million VND compared to departures 1 week before or after.
Notably, compared to a week earlier (6.24), the lowest round-trip airfares from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi on November 7-10 were about 2.65 million VND/person.

The increase in airfares after a short time has made Ms. Yen and many fans even more worried and booked tickets early.
At the same time, round-trip air tickets for the Da Nang - Hanoi route cost from 1.8 - 3.6 million VND/person, the Nha Trang - Hanoi route costs from 2.2 - 4.1 million VND/person, the Quy Nhon - Hanoi route costs from 2.2 - 2.7 million VND/person...
Ms. Dam Thanh Nhan, a retailer of air tickets and hotels in Hung Yen, said that recently, there have been some customers asking about the combo of air tickets and hotels to Hanoi to watch the G-Dragon concert in November.

Ms. Nhan said: "Although the event is quite far away, airfares have increased slightly compared to normal days due to increased customer demand. Customers mainly asked about the Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi route. For other routes, ticket prices are still stable, not too high and there are many flight hours for tourists to choose from".
According to a survey of accommodation facilities, room rates in most hotels have not shown any signs of increasing. Because the time is still quite long, guests can freely choose hotels with many different price ranges in the area around My Dinh Stadium.
On G-Dragon fan groups, many fans shared their experience booking air tickets and reasonable hotels to go to their idol's concert. Many people boasted of having booked air tickets in advance, while others remained calm, waiting for ticket sales information and buying official tickets from G-Dragon's solo concert organizers.
Opportunities to promote tourism from concerts
G-Dragon's tour in Hanoi on the nights of November 8 and 9 is considered an important opportunity to help Vietnam, especially the capital, promote the image of tourism to international friends.
In recent years, the Hallyu wave and the global popularity of Kpop have turned Korean artist concerts such as Blackpink, BTS, TWICE into events that attract a large number of fans around the world.
In particular, along with Asian countries such as Japan, Singapore, Thailand... Vietnam is gradually becoming a destination chosen by many international artists. Thereby, Vietnam has more opportunities to attract international visitors from music tourism.
For example, BlackPink's first concert in Vietnam in 2023, the total number of concert participants is estimated at 70,000 with about 3,000 international visitors, mainly from markets such as China, Korea, Japan, the US, Taiwan (China). About 65% of guests are accommodated.

The Hanoi Department of Tourism estimates that the total revenue from tourists during BlackPink's 2 concert nights in July 2023 reached about 630 billion VND. The figures show a huge source of income from tourism associated with music events.
To exploit and develop music tourism products to become one of the strengths of the capital's tourism, the Hanoi Department of Tourism will promote on-air on media channels, social networks as well as at domestic and international tourism promotion events.
With G-Dragon's first solo tour, Vietnam is facing a great opportunity to attract music tourists. Not only attracting domestic visitors, Hanoi may welcome a large number of tourists from Asian countries thanks to convenient flights and reasonable costs.
In addition to attending concerts, music tourists often tend to stay longer to explore local culture and cuisine. If G-Dragon's concert is well utilized, this will be an opportunity for Vietnam to gradually become a familiar destination in international concerts and enhance its position on the music tourism map.
